Addressing an employee added punch

The Attendance on demand system can be configured to notify employees of missing punches and allow them to add their missing punch via the ESS Mobile app. Once the employee submits their missing punch time, an email notification should be sent to the managers. These steps will detail how the managers can address a punch that was submitted by an employee.


  1. On the Employees Time Card, you will see an adjustment line for the Pending Emp Add trans and a note (if the employee entered one).

     

  2. Click on the button next to the Emp Add trans adjustment.

  3. In the menu that pops up, you will have an option to Approve or Deny the added punch time.

     

  4. If you select to approve the added punch time, the punch will now show appropriately on the employee time card.
