Group Adjustment: Authorize Period Time Card

  1. Click on Advanced Operations to expand the section.

  2. Click on Group Adjustment.


  3. On the right side of the Adjustment box, click on Change.


  4. From the drop down list of adjustments, select Authorize Period Time Card. Click OK to continue.


  5. On the right side of the Authorization box, click on Change.


  6. Select Previous Period from the Pay Period drop down list and Uncheck the box for Lock Time Card. Click OK to continue.


  7. The Workgroups and Employees boxes should be blank if you want to Authorize the Time Cards for all your employees.

    1. To filter to specific Workgroups, Click Change on the right side of the Workgroups box.


      1. From the three boxes on the bottom, Select the workgroup combination that you want to filter to.


      2. Double-Click on the selection in one of the boxes to add it to the list at the top.

      3. Repeat until all needed workgroups are selected and click OK to continue.

    2. To filter to specific Employees, Click Change on the right side of the Employees box.


      1. Double-Click on the name of the employee to add them to the list on the right.


      2. Repeat until all needed employees are selected and click OK to continue.


    Read Before Proceeding

    At this time, all the properties for the group adjustment are configured and you are ready to apply the adjustment. It is highly recommended that you check the properties multiple times to ensure that you are applying the correct adjustment to the correct employees. Once you click the Apply Now link in the Execute box, there is now way to cancel the adjustment or delete it as a group. If properties are entered incorrectly, the edit will need to be manually removed from each employee's individual time card.
  8. When you are sure that all properties are entered correctly, click Apply Now to complete the group adjustment.
