ESS Mobile - Adding a punch as an employee

The Attendance on demand system can be configured to notify employees of missing punches and allow them to add their missing punch via the ESS Mobile app. These steps will detail how the employee can submit their missing punch for supervisor approval.


  1. On the home screen of the ESS Mobile app, the employee will see a box that indicates they have Outstanding Items.

     

  2. When the employee presses on the Outstanding Item box, they will be presented with a list of all the outstanding items.

     

  3. Pressing on the Enter Missing Punch Time box will prompt the employee for the Punch Time and an optional note. The date is automatically set to the day the shift is assigned to, but the employee may need to change the date if they are working past midnight.

     

  4. After filling out the prompts and pressing Save at the bottom of the screen, the employee will be returned to the home screen. The status of their added punch will be displayed in their Timeline.
