Unlocking a Single Time Card (AE)
If an employee's time card has been locked and you need to make adjustments to their time, follow the steps below to unlock the time card.
Web Browser (aka MSS2)
- Use the Pay Periods drop-down menu to select the pay period that you need to unlock.
- Normally, only the Previous Period should be locked.

- On the first day of the pay period, click  to show the adjustments for that day.
- Locate the adjustment that says "...AUTHORIZED PERIOD BEGINNING ... AND SECURED".
- Click  to remove the adjustment and unlock the pay period.
- You can also click  to cancel the adjustment while leaving a record of the original time card lock.

- When you are done making the adjustments, click  to lock the pay period.
Desktop Application (aka Thick Client)
- Click  to show all the adjustments that can be deleted.
- You can also click  to see the adjustments that can be canceled. This is has the same effect as deleting the adjustment, but leaves a record of the original lock.

- Select the adjustment that says "...AUTHORIZED PERIOD BEGINNING ... AND SECURED".
- Click OK.
- When you are done making the adjustments:
- Click  to show the Authorize Time Card Window
- Check Prevent additional editing to lock the pay period and click OK
