Deleting Biometric Templates

Biometric Templates may need to be removed from the Time Terminal ecosystem for several reasons, including revocation of biometric consent by the employee or troubleshooting enrollment issues.


Sign into the Time Terminal Portal.

In the menu on the left side, click the site for which you need to delete templates.

On the Templates tab, click the Delete Template button.

 

 

In the Delete Template window, enter an employee ID, name or badge number.

* As you type in the search box the matching employees will update.

** The enrollment status of each employee will be shown next to their name.

Select the employee that you need to remove templates for and click the Delete Template button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Completing this process will remove the template from the Time Terminal server.

The template will be removed from all devices upon the next sync to the server. Syncs occur by default every 5 minutes, when a Quick Sync is selected from the Menu, or when the app loads after a device reboot.

After deletion of the template, any attempt to push local device templates for the employee will be rejected by the server until the employee is enrolled again.
