Enabling Thermal Restrictions (iT100)

The iT100 series clocks offer support for restricting employees that exceed a set temperature threshold from punching in or out. iT100-THM and iT100-AMT models include the Thermal Camera out of the box, but only the THM model has it pre-attached. The Thermal Camera (Part# iT1-THM) can be ordered separately from IrisID for other models.

Start by clicking on the Menu button in the upper right corner.

From the Main Menu dialog that displays, select Admin Menu.

You will then be prompted to select how to authenticate yourself as an administrator.

  • Select Biometrics if you have been enrolled in the clock with your Supervisor ID/Badge

  • Select Time Terminal Account if you have not enrolled any supervisors or you do not have a Supervisor ID/Badge

Tap on Accessory Devices in the Settings Menu

Tap the toggle for Thermal Camera to turn enable the camera for use.

This will cause the Thermal Camera section to expand and display the settings for the camera.

Temperature Unit

Tap to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Profile Threshold Value

This threshold applies to all devices on the function key profile that do not have a per-device override threshold set.

This setting is optional and can be configured by ICI.

Override Threshold Value

Tap the value (right side of section if blank) to set a per-device threshold.

Temperature Correction

Tap this value (right side of section if blank) to set a specific degree value to adjust the detected temperature value.

You would set this value if the ambient air temperature is interfering with accurate thermal readings.

Temperature Alarm

Enable/Disable audio alert when an employee exceeds temperature threshold.

The Override Threshold and Temperature Correction values can also be set for each device via the Device Details screen on the Time Terminal Portal.

You can get to the Device Detail screen by selecting your site from the left hand menu, and then clicking on the device name in the list of devices.
